Jill joined Empathia in 1998. As an Account Executive, she manages national EAP contracts and provides consultation, training, and intervention services. In her previous role as an EAP Counselor, Jill provided trauma response services and training. Jill has a Masters in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
The 16th Annual Forum on Education Abroad will gather educational institutions from across the world to help improve education abroad.
Empathia’s Jill Sanchez, along with William Siegart from On Call International and Rochelle Keesler of Lafayette College will be presenting their session titled, “Integrating Mental Health Support Into Your Institution’s Risk Management & Duty of Care Strategy” on Thursday, March 26th from 10:45 a.m. to Noon (CST).
In this session, participants will learn how to promote safe and successful study abroad experiences for those living with behavioral health conditions. Best practices for protecting their students, institutions and international programs will be shared, as well as actionable steps for integrating mental health support into their broader risk management and duty of care strategies.
