A tremendous opportunity for facility managers, buildings and grounds supervisors, school business managers and district administrators to gain a new perspective on technology, procedures, processes and impacts of the facility and staffing decisions in their districts.
The educational conference will feature a wide variety of industry experts and over 60 educational sessions tailored specifically for school facility and business professionals as well as an exhibit hall where vendors can showcase their products and services. The conference draws attendees from Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin.
Empathia’s Michelle Colosimo and Kyle Mirehouse, along with Jane Wray from CESA Purchasing and Jason Tadlock from Elkhorn School District, will be presenting their session titled, “Proactive and Reactive – Being Just One is Not An Option” on Tuesday, November 5th from 11:25 am – 12:15 pm.
The session will focus on what it takes to be an expert at being proactive and reactive in every situation. In the past five years, schools have been commanded by events, evolution and public expectation to handle any and all situations that end up in their classrooms. The discussion will offer direction on how to be successful before you ever need to be and how to handle a situation when you do not see it coming.
